Making the transfer from climbing on bolts to leading rock climbs with traditional gear!

Take only photographs, leave only footprints. The skills of lead rock climbing with traditional gear takes patience and time but is extremely rewarding. 


Its a long way without any protection!

Goodbye Chester old pal!

Chester,  a great dog and we had to say goodbye to him!


·         His first winter at Ruddock Creek mine with access to work from Revelstoke by helicopter
·         Training with CARDA, REVSAR & PEP. 
·         Two winters in Scotland working with me for SAIS. One brief search near the ski area.
·         SAR demonstrations at Mica
·         First (known) dog ascent of Mt Begbie; along with Kulu to the ridge
·         Featured in BBC articles
·         Featured in Dr Adam Watson book, ‘Point, Sets and Man’   
·         Therapy dog work at Mt Cartier Court extended care cottages
