Everest: 10th Time for Lhakpa Rangdu

Lhakpa Rangdu climbed Everest for the tenth time on 18th May 2013... congratulations!

Lhakpa Rangdu  is on the left in the above photo which  was taken in Chilas when we all met up after our ascent of the Mazino Ridge of Nanga Parbat in 2012.

Final Alpine ski tour of 2012/13 ski season

Was assessing at Talon , Bridge of Don, Aberdeen on Friday 17th.... guys did well.

Still some good skiing to be had in the gullies on perfect spring snow! 

 Ciste Gully, superb spring snow, lower down the snow bridges over the stream are weak, but it's all very obvious.

Many of the climbing gullies are still complete although snow is soft and colder early morning starts are best.
