Aiguilles Rouge, Crochues traverse

Climbing in boots is an important Alpine skill so here is Colin are on a nice ridge traverse

Spectacular positions although the Mont Blanc massive was obscured by clouds, spoiling the outstanding view.

Graham and John Alpine climbing for the first time!

I met John and Graham this winter as the wished to try winter climbing in Scotland...
they loved it, now we are in Chamonix, Mont Blanc for a week or so!

Our first day today, acclimatising by traversing the Vallee Blanche, roping up for glacier travel and other useful skills!

I took the opportunity and had a two day break back home, the Alps are great but so is Scotland. This is climbing at Moy.

And a night on the far North - West coast.

Arcteryx weekend

Last weekend we had a busy time working and leading groups for Arcteryx in Chamonix, the weather was not the easiest but everyone did lots and a good time was had.
