Wonderful Scotland - Winter climbing

A great day out new routing with Andy and Dave, like  several  "Curtains like- on Ben Nevis: ice steps linked together with turf and ice filled gullies... simply the best.

Some rock climbing and navigation skills!

The access road to Cairngorm has been closed for a couple of days owing to high winds and lots of spindrift, The snow blower and snow plough drivers have been working hard but the road remains closed. So Frankie and I have been working at lower levels refining navigation skills and some cold /freezing hand rock climbing!!!

The other day Andy Nisbet, Kacper and I climbed an interesting route on Lurchers.

A few days before we climbed the route to the first image in this post Andy and I went  to check to some line son Lurchers crag, Cairngorms.
