Classic scrambles in the Cairngorms

A short drive from my house there is the wonderful Cairngorms ( Grampian Mountains).
Above is a view of Stob Coire an-t-Sneachda from the classic Fiacaille ridge

A good early summer crop of rhubarb from my garden, so I made some rhubarb and ginger jam

After Thought Arete

A fine view of the Loch Avon basin, Stac Dubha and over to Beinn Mheadhoin (1182m)
